FOUR attractions at New Brighton's Marine Point development have been awarded Trip Advisor's Certificate of Excellence, writes Jess Carney.
Bubbles' World Of Play, the Floral Pavilion, Light Cinema and Championship Adventure Golf have all been awarded the certificate by the world's largest travel site.
Trip Advisor excellence awards are given only to establishments that consistently achieve outstanding reviews on the website.
Daniel Hynd, managing director of Promenade Estates, which completed the £65m redevelopment of New Brighton and owns Marine Point, said: "It's brilliant news to hear that Marine Point is respected so much by the visitors that come to New Brighton.
"We set out to develop a quality year round destination, and the operators in the area have built on that by maintaining consistently high standards for their visitors.
"It just goes to show that the redevelopment of the seaside town has really transformed the area into one of the best places in the North West to visit for a family day out"
Championship Adventure Golf is named as the number one thing to do in New Brighton on the Trip Advisor site.
Owner Nick Ashfield said: "Winning the Trip Advisor Certificate of Excellence is a true source of pride for he entire team at Championship Adventure Golf and we'd like to thank all of our past guests who took the time to complete a review.
"There is no greater seal of approval than being recognised by our customers and we will ensure to keep up the good work."
Bubbles' World of Play
Indoor children's soft play centre Bubbles' World of Play was also recognised with an accolade having received nearly 500,000 guests since its opening in 2013.
Peter Collard, general manager, said: "It's been a brilliant year for Bubbles' World of Play so far and receiving the Certificate of Excellence is the icing on the cake.
"I'd like to say thank you to all the visitors to Bubbles' that have given us such great reviews that led to this award"
Marine Point's Light Cinema
The Light Cinema is recognised due to consistently high reviews for the popular eight-screen facility.
Jane Woodason, marketing manager, said: "We are thrilled to have received this award. This acknowledgement is particularly welcome, because it is a vote of confidence from the people that matter the most - our customers."
Floral Pavilion in New Brighton
Finally, the Floral Pavilion and Conference Centre has hosted local shows and plays alongside big names acts like John Bishop and Russell Watson, and welcomes 300,000 visitors a year.
Pippa Lea, communications and sales manager, said: "Feedback on sites such as Trip Advisor are vital for us to grow and progress.
"I'd like to thank our customers, new and returning, for being vocal, not only when we get it right but especially when we get it wrong, so we know how to make our venue a better experience for everyone that visits."
