Emergency services were in action last night after a car caught fire on the M53.
Smoke was coming from the vehicle, which was at Junction 2 travelling northbound.
The alarm was raised just before 6.15pm and fire crews made the car safe.
A 25-year-old driver was out of the vehicle when firefighters arrived and is not believed to have been injured.
