TRANMERE Rovers' manager Ronnie Moore could include Jason Koumas in the squad for tomorrow's final pre-season friendly of the summer at Wrexham.

The midfielder has been training with the club since early July after two years out of the game.

Moore said: "Koumas has worked hard and is looking fit. It might be we give him half an hour at Wrexham.

"It will give everyone an idea of how he is progressing, including Jason himself.

"We can all say what we want about him but the proof is in the pudding of playing in matches.

"We will know whether he is another two weeks away or whether he is ready now.

"He has not played at professional level for two years and it's not easy to come in here, have four weeks training and just get back into it."

Stephen Foster will not be involved after having nine stitches above his eye following Tuesday night's game against Burnley at Prenton Park, which ended 2-1 for the visitors while James Wallace is still unavailable.

Akpo Sodje returns to the squad for tomorrow's game at the Racecourse.
Kick off is 3pm.
