Two in hospital following crash on A41 in Bromborough
TWO people have been taken to hospital suffering from shock following a collision between a car and lorry on the A41 in Bromborough this afternoon.
The incident, involving a Vauxhall Corsa and articulated lorry, took place on New Chester Road Southbound at the junction of Croft Avenue East / Caldbeck Road earlier this afternoon.
The driver and passenger of the Corsa were taken to hospital suffering from shock. There are no details on the lorry driver, but he is thought to be okay.
One lane is currently closed, affecting traffic between Birkenhead and the M53. Traffic is coping well.
