THREE people were treated for minor injuries following a road traffic collision in Birkenhead this morning.
The crash, involving a Ford C-Max and Vauxhall Corsa, took place at the junction of Bebington Road and Old Chester Road. Firefighters were called to the incident just before 11am.
A 60-year-old woman was in the Ford C-Max. She was treated at the scene by paramedics but did not require hospital treatment.
Paramedics also treated two men, aged 52 and 66, who were in the Vauxhall Corsa but they did not require hospital treatment.
Firefighters cordoned off the road at the junction and made the vehicles safe.
Two crews from West Kirby and Liverpool community fire stations were called out along with the MF&RS Search and Rescue Team.
Firefighters were at the scene until around 12.15pm.
