A MAN has been charged with the murder of Mark Reissing on July 9 in Egremont.
Nazzareno Abela, aged 46, of Springfield Place, Wallasey, appeared before Liverpool City Magistrates Court on Saturday.
He was remanded in custody to appear at Liverpool Crown Court for a bail hearing on Tuesday of this week.
A preliminary hearing, also at the crown court, is scheduled for August 5.
A 25-year-old Wallasey woman and a 30-year-old Liverpool man who were both arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender have been released on conditional police bail pending further enquiries.
A 41-year-old man and a 37-year-old woman who were arrested on suspicion of the murder on 9 July are also on police bail pending further inquiries.
The body of Mr Reissing, aged 48, was found near Egremont Parade.
A post mortem examination established he died from multiple injuries.
