WIRRAL Council has unveiled details of its summer holiday activity programme for children and young adults with disabilities or specific needs.

The Active All Sports Programme is aimed at children and young adults from the age of 5 to 25 who have a range of disabilities or learning difficulties.

This summer's programme is one of the most comprehensive ever compiled and features activities ranging from tennis and football, to dance, drama and raft building.

Cllr Chris Meaden, Wirral Council Cabinet member for Health and Wellbeing, said: "Active All Sports is one of the Council’s flagship sport development projects which aims to ensure that children, young people, and adults with a disability have the opportunity to access all leisure and cultural facilities, activities and programmes."
