WITH regard to the council talking about the about tarmacing the dips for car parks.
The land, on Harrison Park down and along to the Clown, was given to the people of Wallasey by the Harrison family (hence the names Harrison Park, Harrison Drive, etc).
It was given for the pleasure and recreation of the people of Wallasey and not to be built on.
In fact, I am not too sure if the houses and flats by Harrison Park have a legal right to be there.
So the council should not make car parking for which I expect they will start to charge.
