A WIRRAL library is hosting a session for young people interested in learning how to design their own comics.

Greasby Library is to hold a Comic Making class on July 22 between 10am and 12 noon for young people aged 7 to 13. The session costs £5 an hour and the ticket price includes a comic to take away.

Cllr Chris Meaden, cabinet member for health and wellbeing said: "Wirral's libraries hold regular sessions for young people who want to learn how to work with multimedia, such as computer graphics packages, as a first step on the journey to what could become a lifelong pursuit."

Create Multimedia will use the workshops to teach potential designers how to use graphics software to animate computer generated images and photographs, and to create their own animations, comics and graphic novels using digital cameras and Apple Mac’s.
