THREE Merseyside men accused of a drugs plot after £500,000 worth of heroin was found at a Wirral caravan park appeared for the first time at Liverpool Crown Court today.
Christopher Brown, 32, of Warren Drive, Wallasey, Stephen Chadwick, 26, of Endsleigh Road, Crosby and Paul Hannon, 52, of Waterloo Quay, Liverpool, all appeared from Walton Jail via video link.
The men, who are charged with conspiracy to supply Class A drugs, were further remanded in custody by Judge Stephen Everett until September 13 when they are expected to enter their pleas.
They were arrested after police from the region's organised crime unit swooped at a caravan park in Meols on June 25.
The heroin, weighing eight kilos, wrapped in a parcel marked 'fragile' was found in the boot of a Vauxhall Corsa.
