Firefighters put out grass fire near railway line in Wallasey
FIREFIGHTERS were called out to a grass fire near a railway line in Wallasey this morning.
The fire on Sandcliffe Road involved a 50m by 30m patch of grassland.
A team from Wallasey Fire Station attended the scene at 11.25am and was there for around half an hour.
There were no reports that anyone was injured in the incident.
