NO wonder so many cyclists are involved in accidents.
I was stopped at red lights at Claughton Village on Sunday afternoon and dozens of riders in the Chester to Liverpool marathon were coming toward us on the opposite side of the carriageway.
Did they stop at the lights?
Did they heck, they just ploughed across en-masse and it was truly a piece of luck – for their sakes – that no cars were whizzing across that junction at the same time. Crazy.
