CALVERT Richard Walter Peacefully passed away at Arrowe Park Hospital on 7th May 2024, aged 86 years. Dearly loved Husband of Doreen. Adored by his children, Philip and Elaine. A much-loved Grandad to his Grandchildren, and Father-in-law to Simon. A dear Brother-in-law of Joan, Dot, Barbara and Beryl. Richard played football for Wolverhampton Wanderers, Ellesmere Port and managed New Brighton FC. Richard was also a member of The Lever Singers, Ellesmere Port Dramatic Society and Heswall Operatic Society and will be greatly missed by all his family and friends. Funeral Service to be held on Wednesday 5th June 2024 at Our Lady Star of the Sea R.C Church, Ellesmere Port at 2 p.m. followed by a private family committal. Family flowers only please, however a donation in aid of Dementia Together Wirral and Tranmere Rovers in the Community would be gratefully received.
