FAVAGER Alan We are sad to announce the passing of Alan Favager of Higher Bebington. He died at age 88 on 10 March 2024. Alan passed away surrounded by his wife, Anne, his children, Karen and Mark, and his grandchildren, Senga and Daisy. The funeral will take place at Landican Crematorium at 11:30am on 25 March 2024.

Saddened to hear of Alan's passing. He taught me English in the early 70s, at what is now South Wirral High. He was an inspirational teacher, well liked by the pupils. I joined the support staff at South Wirral in the mid 90s and was delighted to meet him again. I found he was equally well liked by his colleagues. He will long be remembered.

Mr Favager ( Favo) was my teacher at Kirklands in the late 60’s It was a tough school and it needed strong teachers and Favo was that and more l never heard a bad word said about him from any pupil upmost respect for him to this day last saw him at APH about 4 years ago Rest in peace Sir
