I had the pleasure of working with Sue for a little on two and a half years. I’ve worked in a lot of places during my career, all over the world and frankly I’ve never met such a nice bunch of people as I’m working with now. Sue was one of the bunch.

Although part of that clan, she was most certainly a massive character within and a voice that stood out, when she needed it to.

Sue held gravitas and was one of the most thoroughly honest, sincere and loving people I’ve had the pleasure to work across my 34 year career.

Sue’s character was such that she ensured you were not only accountable to her (regardless of work status) but she made you think twice about what you did, how you did it and why - for the right reasons.

You’d better get it right because if you didn’t, it would be Sue that would highlight your errors - mostly in a nice and positive way, but she wouldn’t suffer fools and it is that part of her character that I’m so going to miss.

She will be sadly missed no doubt by all who knew her. I guess to truly know her was to love her and she had loads of room in her heart for all that wanted to be part of her circle.

Was a honour to have known you Sue, God bless and hope to see you at the next stop when it’s my turn to disembark.

Love and prayers to Ian, Ben, Ollie and Angela.
