Big Mama June 21st, 2023
I have such fond memories of Jim, going back to 1989, when we first met at 'the Poly'. He and Mike Brown used to entertain and drive me mad on a daily basis. Such a duo! After Mike's death, Jim impressed me with the way he wore his grief on his sleeve. Open and honest, he was an excellent role model for people dealing with grief. We would cover anything and everything in our regular conversations, from children, the passage of time, Tranmere, religion, politics, fishing, golf, music to education and pharmacy. I miss my daily debates with Jim, and even if we didn't quite agree, we'd always end the discussion with a bellowing laugh and some light hearted joke, or humour. Jim - it was a privililedge! Lots of love to Linda, Catherine, Matthew and Charlotte. From Aly (Mrs Leigh).
