MURPHY Peter Peacefully passed away at Arrowe Park Hospital on 27th February 2023, aged 83 years. Loved so much by his wife Marie. Dearly loved father of Caroline, Sharon, Andrew and father-in-law to Graeme, Rob and Louise. Cherished grandfather of Laura, Jess, Katie, Lizzie, Amy, Tommy and Nathan and grandfather-in-law to Marc and Andy. Peter will be greatly missed by all his family and friends. Funeral Service to take place on Wednesday 29th March 2023 at St. Mary of the Angels R.C Church, Hooton at 1:30 p.m., followed by Burial at Plymyard Cemetery. Family flowers only please, however a charitable donation to Macmillan Cancer Support would be gratefully received. The Anderson Family have been entrusted with the arrangements. So sad to hear of Peters passing, we worked together on Quality Control at Vauxhalls many years ago. Peter often gave me a lift into work and was always there for advice when I was new to the job and still wet behind the ears. I have very fond memories of those times and have often thought of Peter. The thing that always impressed me, and will stick with me, was his ability to roll a perfect cigarette with one hand! Rest in peace my dear friend, gone but not forgotten. My deepest condolences to Marie and family at this sad time. Derek Williams
