WILSON-EVANS, Edward 5th January 2023, peacefully, aged 84 years, with his friends by his side. Formerly of Machynlleth, Dolgellau. Well respected and devout musician and teacher in Wirral. Funeral Service at St Stephen's Church, Prenton on Friday 20th January at 2.00pm followed by burial at Landican Cemetery. Flowers, or donations to Wirral Society of the Blind and Partially Sighted (WSBPS) may be sent c/o Quinns Funeral Service, 217 Greasby Road, Greasby Wirral CH49 2PF tel: 0151 677 2299.

Dearest Mr Evans you made our music lessons at Bebington Secondary School for Girls such a pleasure to attend. Your wicked sense of humour made your lessons extremely entertaining. All the girls loved you doing "Name That Tune" - Were we had to guess the tune in the least amount of notes. After we left school a lot of us girls would see you playing at their families funeral at Landican Cemetery. Thank you so much for playing the piano at my Nan's and Dad's funeral. You helped and guided me with the music for which I'm eternally grateful. God Bless and Thank You so much for the Music Mr Evans 🎹 🎶 Sarah Marshall
