WOLSTENHOLME Ella Our beloved Mother Ella (Amelia Veronica) Wolstenholme passed away in Hillgrove Residential Care Home on 2/1/2023 after a lengthy struggle with dementia and a shorter fatal bout of throat cancer. Ella joins her late husband Alan who passed in November 2020. They lived most of their married life together in Pensby. Ella leaves behind her bereft sons, Neil resident in London and Andrew living in North Carolina, USA. We are supported in our loss by our families including her grandchildren Daniel, Amy and Brianne. We miss her dearly and will be forever grateful for her life of sacrifice, support and love that gave us the independence and opportunity to pursue our own dreams in a way that was denied to her younger self by sad family circumstances and the conservative religious and social conventions of that time. Service at Landican Crematorium on Friday 27th January at 1.00 pm. Family flowers only please. Donations may be sent in aid of Alzheimer's UK c/o Charles Stephens, 17 Banks Road, West Kirby CH48 0QX
