SHELDON Thomas "Tommy" January 29 1932 - December 6, 2022 The Best Dad, Grandad, Great Grandad, uncle and friend. Tommy was a much loved character who always had a smile on his face, a twinkle in his eye, and a song in his heart. He kept us laughing with stories of his evacuation to Oswestry, his National Service, his time in the merchant navy and his long career as a window cleaner in Birkenhead. He had numerous adventures with his late and loved wife Margaret. They travelled the world together, hand in hand and danced around many a ballroom. No microphone was safe and their repertoire of songs was legendary. They were members of many music societies- the Big Band, Perry Como, and Frank Sinatra, and formed deep friendships over the years with like- minded songsters. Beloved Husband to the late Margaret, father to Lynne (Chuck), grandfather to Sarah (Justin) and great grandfather to Claire, loving family friends Sandra and Gegsy, along with many more friends, nephews and nieces. Tommy passed away peacefully and is once again hand in hand with Margaret. A memorial will be held at a future date to celebrate Tommy's life.
