THE Port Sunlight Players stage their production of Richard Harris' cricketing comedy 'Outside Edge' this week.
The play follows the trials and tribulations of captain Roger and long-suffering wife Mim as they struggle to field a team of fairly fit players for the forthcoming needle match of the season.
Based on the long-running TV series of the same name the play promises many silly mid on situations.
The show will be staged at The Gladstone Theatre in Greendale Road, Port Sunlight, from this Thursday, May 12 to Saturday 14.
Performances start at 7.30pm, Tickets, £7, are from 643 8757 or www.gladstonetheatre.org.uk
