THE Tall Ships have been and gone, but there’s still six weeks of summer holidays to fill...

Or, if flora and fauna are more your cup of tea, there’s Stapeley Water Gardens with the lush tropical Palms Tropical Oasis or Bridgemere Garden World for great shopping and wonderful gardens. Just a short car ride from Wirral is Beeston Castle, with its amazing views and a new wildlife trail.

Or, closer to home, is our very own Port Sunlight Village, the Sunlight Vision Museum and the iconic Lady Lever Gallery. For those who enjoy a challenge, there is Redhouse Farm, near Altrincham, with its huge Maize Maze, from July until September.
