THE Bennetts British Superbike Championship returns to Oulton Park on July 18/19/20 and with the season now at the half-way point the stakes are high as the pressure increases to score points as the title chase closes.

Shane ‘Shakey’ Byrne leads the standings for Airwaves Ducati after a consistent season where he is yet to finish outside the top two.

He is looking forward to Oulton Park, one of his favourite circuits thanks to its fast and flowing nature. HM Plant Honda’s Cal Crutchlow is chasing him down hard though as he aims to close the advantage.

Crutchlow will be fighting to make amends for his mistake here earlier in the season when he crashed out whilst leading, dislocating his ankle. He has the form to challenge ‘Shakey’, and with this circuit renowned for having the closest race finishes of the season it could be a photo finish in just over two weeks time.

With Rizla Suzuki’s Tom Sykes, Rob Mac Racing Yamaha’s Karl Harris and the second HM Plant Honda of Leon Haslam all still seeking their first win of the season the racing is going to be intense and frantic as the race to be the 2008 Bennetts British Superbike Championship continues.

The Globe has teamed up with Oulton Park race circuit to offer one lucky reader the chance to win a pair of tickets for BSB raceday on 20 July.

All you have to do is answer the following question:
