TEENS, mums, grans and everyone in between were dancing in their seats last night as Britain's biggest stars took over Liverpool Echo Arena for one night only.
Radio City Live! saw the likes of Alesha Dixon, The Saturdays, Alexandra Burke, The Script and many more belt out their hits to 8,000-strong crowd.
The night kicked off with a set from McFly, who treated fans to a performance of their comeback single Party Girl.
With the party atmosphere well and truly set for the evening, the show continued with Dane Bowers performing new single "All She Needs" and Strictly Come Dancing judge Alesha Dixon who wowed the crowd with her energetic dance moves and a selection of her solo hits.
Taking to the stage next was former X Factor finalist Diana Vickers with her number one hit Once.
Speaking to the Globe backstage before her performance, she said: "I'm so excited to be performing here tonight. It's just such an honour to do all these of things and be with these other great people.
"I love it here in Liverpool, I've played here once before on the X Factor tour and it's great to be back because it's a fantastic venue.
"Northern crowds are just the best. They're always up for a good time. It's so good to be back up north again because I got to go home last night to see everyone so that was really nice.
"I'm really looking forward to seeing Professor Green, The Hoosiers and of course Alex (Burke) tonight. It should be a fun night."
Closing the first half of the show was The Hoosiers, who have had hits such as Worried About Ray and Goodbye Mr A.
The band spoke to the Globe before hitting the stage.
Drummer Alfonso Sharland said: "We absolutely love it here, we've played Liverpool before and it's a great city. We're looking forward to seeing Diana Vickers tonight, she's very talented.
"And McFly were great, they always put a lot of energy in.
"Our new album, The Illusion of Safety, has just been released so we're all every excited about that.
"We're hoping it will do as well as the first one but you just never know but the main thing is for us to go on tour and play to the fans."
Entertaining the crowd in the second half of the concert were acts such as Tinchy Stryder, Professor Green and The Saturdays, who were two members down due to illness.
Band member Rochelle Wiseman told the audience: "Vanessa and Frankie are really sick at home in bed tonight so they can't be with us. But we didn't want to cancel on you guys so we thought we would come along anyway and do a little acoustic set for you all."
They went on to perform their top three single, Missing You and Ego, with Una accompanying on guitar.
But it was 2008 X Factor winner Alexandra Burke who had every single concert-goer, young or old, on their feet.
Wearing a black crochet dress, Alexandra belted out her summer hit All Night Long and new single Start Without You.
She told fans she couldn't wait to get back to Liverpool when she tours next year, before closing her set with last year's number one smash Bad Boys.
With hoarse voices and tired feet from a night of partying, the crowd stayed on their feet for the last act of the night Scouting For Girls, who showcased some new material from their forthcoming album.
Despite the concert being Radio City's first arena gig of its kind, the night ran seemingly without a hitch and DJ Rossie announced that plans are already underway to make next year's show even bigger and better.
