DRIVERS are facing delays on the M56 motorway this afternoon due to a car fire.
Lane one and the hard shoulder has been closed on the M56 eastbound between Junction 15 Chester and Junction 14 Ellesmere Port due to a vehicle fire this afternoon (March 26).
Crews from Ellesmere Port Fire station are currently at the scene.
There are currently delays of up to 50 minutes and five miles of congestion.
Normal traffic conditions are expected between 5.00pm and 5.15pm.
