A man in his 50s was taken to hospital following a 'medical emergency' on a Wirral street earlier this morning (Monday, February 6).
Singleton Avenue in Tranmere was closed for around 40 minutes due to the incident between Highgreen Road and Borough Road. All lanes have been re-opened.
A Northwest Ambulance Service spokesperson told the Globe: "We responded to a patient suffering from a medical emergency following a call at 7.53am. An advanced paramedic and an ambulance crew attended the incident.
"A man in his 50s was taken to hospital."
