POLICE have confirmed a man’s body was found on a Birkenhead street.
Emergency services were called on Thursday evening following a report that a man in his 40s was found on Price Street, Birkenhead.
Paramedics attended and the man was found dead at the scene.
A cordon was in place last night.
In a statement police said: “A post-mortem examination will take place to establish the cause of death, and the body is yet to be formally identified.“
