THE Ellesmere Port Sports Village was closed to the public this morning following the sudden death of a man.
Emergency services were called to the Ellesmere Port Sports Village at 8.08am today (Tuesday, October 18).
Paramedics and Cheshire Police were in attendance and the leisure centre was closed throughout the morning.
A spokesperson for North West Ambulance Service said: "We sent various resources including a rapid response vehicle and an air ambulance."

The leisure centre has since re-opened following the incident.
A spokesperson for Cheshire Police said: "At 9am on Tuesday 18 October police were called to the sudden death of a man at a leisure centre on Stanney Lane in Ellesmere Port.
"His death is not being treated as suspicious and a file will be prepared for the coroner."
