POLICE have confirmed that a man's body discovered in a lake at Central Park is not being treated as suspicious.
Emergency services were called at around 6.30am on Monday, May 20 following reports that a body had been found in a lake at Central Park.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene and his body was recovered.
His death is being treated as non-suspicious and a file has been prepared for the coroner.
A Home Office Post Mortem has taken place and the cause of death withheld pending toxicology reports.
Detectives confirmed that the man had now been identified but enquiries are ongoing to trace his next of kin.
