SMOKE from a fire at a recycling plant in Wales has been billowing over Wirral this afternoon.
North Wales Fire and Rescue Service confirmed that a report was received at around 3.14pm today (Tuesday) of a fire involving plastic in Factory Road, Sandycroft.
Crews from Wrexham, Flint, Buckley, Mold, Llandudno and Deeside are all in attendance.
Wirral residents have taken to social media after spotting the smoke over the borough.
Traffic Wales have urged motorists to 'approach the A494 with caution' while the incident is ongoing.
