FIREFIGHTERS were called to tackle a lorry fire in Wallasey.
Emergency services were called at around 9.52am today (Monday) to Poulton Bridge Road after reports of a lorry well alight.
Two fire engines attended the incident which involved a fire in the lorry's engine compartment.
No-one was injured.
Merseyside Fire and Rescue Service remained on scene until 10.30am.
A police cordon was in place but has since been lifted.
