A LINK road from M56 westbound to M53 junction 11 northbound remains closed following a van fire.
Cheshire Fire and Rescue service were called at around 3.10pm today to the fire on the slip road on junction 15 between the M56 and M53.
Crews wearing breathing apparatus have extinguished the fire using two hose reel jets.
Firefighters are still at the scene emptying the contents of the van.
The Highways Agency have closed the slip road.
Normal traffic conditions are expected to resume between 5.15pm and 5.30pm.
There are currently delays of 10 minutes.
