POLICE are appealing for witnesses following a serious crash in Wirral that left two people with head injuries.
Emergency services were called to the junction of Hoylake Road and Worcester Road at 5.10pm today, Tuesday, after reports of a collision between a silver Citroen Xsara Picasso estate and a white quad bike.
Two men in their early 20s who are believed to have been on the quad bike at the time of the crash were found lying injured in the road.
An ambulance was called and both were treated by paramedics before being taken to Aintree University Hospital for treatment having suffered head injuries.
The driver of the Citroen was uninjured.
The junction of Hoylake Road and Worcester Road is currently closed in both directions while officers carry out investigations.
